I get a message saying the file is corrupt?
The link will not download! It keeps saying an error occurred.
It installed an earlier version. I apparently had 1.13 and it installed 1.12? Also, the word war function still didn’t work.
Still not working for me. Attached link does not work, new link does not work. Nothing happens, it says it won’t install because an error occurred. My computer says that Adobe Air installed.
Yup, same experience here. Thought it was my new laptop.
This is my fifth time trying to do what your emails have instructed me to do. Clearly other people are having the same issues. Refunds should be issued.
I figured it out. You need to right-click “Open with Adobe Air Application Installer,” not “Open with Adobe Air Installer” – otherwise, it won’t work.
Not sure where you’re seeing this, and I would love to get this to work! I just go through a loop where it tells me it has to install Air (which is already installed), then it fails.
Works for me, thanks!!
I’m sorry that people are having issues. I didn’t see this thread right away. I will do anything I can to help. I’m going to post the download link here for people in this thread, but I’ll remove it later, don’t want everyone to get it for free.
Right click this link and click “Save Link As…”
I know this file works, I just tested it on my Mac. I’m not near a Windows computer to test it but try Lindsey’s solution above of right clicking the .air file (once you’ve saved it) and make sure you’re running the file with Adobe AIR Application Installer.
Mitzy and Amanda, are you on Windows or Mac?
I am on a Mac. I get this message from the link in the email –
Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.
I’m on a Toshiba Satellite, running Windows 7, and it only worked when I did as Lindsey said. I right clicked the ‘Download .air file’ link, and ‘saved link as…’ on my desktop. Even then, I had to exempt the Write or Die program from Avast’s Sandbox.
I missed the couple of days when the direct link was there. I’m on Windows 7. Adobe Air Installer won’t install via the link above–I get an error message. I go to the Adobe website and try to install from there, but it tells me “This version of Adobe Air is already installed on your system.” So I go to the link above and try to say “no” when the link above asks me to install Adobe Air, but then nothing happens. Argh.
Wait, it seems to be there now! Thank you!
I got the email from you with the link to download. It won’t install – it says there’s an error. I’m now using a new email since the one I used when I purchased is defunct. What gives?
Please send new link to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
Perfect! Thank you very much!
I followed the instructions and it works just fine on my mac. This was well worth the money =)
Finally got it working! I had to install an update for Adobe AIR from the Adobe website. http://get.adobe.com/air/ worked perfectly after that!
Thanks. Worked like a charm!
I find it interesting only a very few people are getting it and not people who had initially asked for a new link… makes me wonder if he is sending the good comments himself.
This is the second time I used this page, and I have successfully installed “Write or Die” each time. As long as a person has previously purchased the software using the correct email address, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for others.
I doubt this post will convince you but perhaps others will give it a shot once they understand what they need to do to get the form to work (or to use the alternative download link).
Seriously? You are going to doubt my experience? You don’t know me or what happened to me. Or maybe you are the owner in disguise or a friend of his? If you read this page you will see I was not the only one. I was one of MANY. I gave the right email address and paid. So what’s YOUR problem with other people’s experience? Like I said before, he must have fixed it recently and that is why it is ok now. But it did NOT work for several months. Not to mention, I have worked in the computer field for years,… I do know what I am doing.
Also, the OWNER ADMITS there was a problem and the OWNER ADMITS he was lousy at fixing it in a timely manner.
